Before2012-during-Now2014.
In this collage each girl is very different from each other, all maybe smiling, but their is a lie and story behind it. From a girl who was 110%comfortable with herself, to unintentionally losing weight (people commenting and “joking” not to gain it back so started anxieties not to gain the weight back), then being bulimic, which progressed to anorexia, that evolved to binge eating. After all this it finally brings to the girl who is recovering. She’s learning not seeing food as the enemy but a power source, and how to handle her depression. A story that still continues and hurts, but it has taught her many valuable lessons. What didn’t kill her made her stronger. Recovery is never 100% finished, you have to keep working at it. Remember “You is kind, you is smart, you is important” NO matter what the mirror, family, and scale says. Take a deep breath because you know you got this and can make it through. You are never alone! Even if your family won’t believe you or support you, close friends are willing to go beyond what you thought. Remember, “help will always be given to those who ask and deserve it.” And you DESERVE IT! It may look bleak now but things really do get better just keep going!
